KLAXON

KLAXON

KLAXON is a group from Marseille. It is composed of Régis Lesieur, Johnny Van-Hooland, Christian Polloni, André Thus and Bernard Marocchino.

In order to give themselves every chance, the quintet moved to Paris where they worked hard at rehearsing, composing songs and recording demos. Luck smiled on them one day when the defection of the band Gamma, which was to open for Foreigner at the Olympia in Paris, opened the doors of this mythical venue. Klaxon took up the challenge and made a name for themselves.

WEA sniffed out the opportunity and signed the Marseille-based group. A first album was released in 1982 and received a shower of praise. With their beautiful production and catchy songs, Francis Zegut (RTL) pushed them on the air with the title "Assez de sévices".

Their Foreigner-like fluid hard rock seduces the crowd and Klaxon starts a French tour.
