DRUNKULA

DRUNKULA

Remember raiding your parent's liquor cabinet as a kid? Mixing random
bottles of booze, you made yourself a nice little cocktail for the prom. You
probably came up with some a black, syrupy combo that tasted great at the
time, but inevitably ended in heartbreak, vomit and maybe even a trip to
the hospital.
DRUNKULA recklessly combines motor city grooves and hardcore
bombast with hip shaking soul, so you'll once again have yourself a nice
little cocktail for the prom. And while you'll agree it tastes great going down,
don't forget about the heartbreak, vomit and a trip to the hospital!
Emerging from the crusty underbelly of the Toronto rock scene in 2004.
Featuring Much Music VJ Search finalist Andrew 'Stroke' Todd and Now
Magazine's two-time winner for best Toronto Bass Player Nick Sewell of
The Illuminati, DRUNKULA have cut their teeth sharing stages with the
likes of garage rock legends The Fleshtones, Radio Birdman, The
Dirtbombs, UK's The Cribs and Priestess. Flanked by guitarist Steve Scarlet
and drummer Brian Christopher of acid-punk legends The Sinisters,
DRUNKULA is born of the dirtiest, nastiest pedigree Toronto has to offer.
After a coughing up a 12-song debut called The Caketaker in 2005,
DRUNKULA have just finished a brand new LP produced by Can-Rock
legend Ian Blurton entitled ALL NEW MOVES. The blistering, relentless 10
song freak out can be likened to successive punches in the mouth, fat lip
included. ALL NEW MOVES is slated for a summer release in Canada, with a
special deluxe edition including The Caketaker available this fall in Europe
through Bad Reputation records.
