KIDDIE COKE

Kiddie Coke formed in 2010 in Dijon under Christelle Lacombre's motivation, wild frontgirl, and Yann Charliquart,  a guitarist inspired by Sonic Youth and Nirvana. The duet is joined by Yann Ferry (bass )and the explosive Guillaume Dupré (ex--Eths) on drums.

Christelle, stemming from the music school where she learnt the music theory and the traverse flute, then dealt with the piano and the guitar. And it is in Kiddie Coke that she expresses best her real nature: passionate, creative and energetic.

In a few years, the quartet is going to record two E.P’s, to make dates to roam its scenic performance and finally begin composing the first album.

Recorded in Dijon and Marseille, the album is produced and mixed by Guillaume Pavesi. If the music is situated between the grunge and the alternative rock, texts written in English are centred on questioning of the life and personal feelings.

This concentrated of energy drink in the electric riffs carried by an at the same time pleasant and crystalline voice, is boosted by drums powerful and distilled. A trip without overdose, everything controls it, because the band leans on an obvious and appreciated scenic experience.

By signing on Bad Reputation, Kiddie Coke allows the luxury to have its cover artwork created by Michael Johnny Walker (guitarist and art director of the The Love Me Nots).

Ten tracks among which unstoppable Medical Walls, Take A Toke or Lose and Find will come to stimulate your nervous system, whereas Waterfall will excite your romantic neurons.

Let’s jump on this Kiddie Coke, musical molecule completed to fight the depression.
