SILVER HORSES

SILVER HORSES

Silver Horses is an Italian-English rock band formed in 2011 by Italian guitarist Gianluca Galli and English singer Tony Martin. Tony Martin was Black Sabbath's lead singer from 1987 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1997. Martin was the band's second-longest-serving singer after Ozzy Osbourne.
The members of Silver Horses have a wealth of experience on the Italian and international hard rock scene, with numerous records, tours and a high profile on the rock scene.
Tony Martin joined the band from the outset to build a new hard rock project. Silver Horses offered to record their first album in 2012, with a very successful album, very 70s-oriented rock with influences from Led Zeppelin and Whitesnake but with a modern and very personal touch. Tony Martin also features on a few tracks on the second album, entitled 'Tick'.
The band have just completed production of their third album, 'Electric Omega', with Italian singer Jacopo Meille, leader of the British band Tygers of Pan Tang for some twenty years. Jacopo isn't exactly a new face to the band, having started playing with Gianluca in 1989, first with Mad Mice and then Mantra. SH's line-up today is probably the 'dream team' that sums up years of different experiences but a shared vision and love of rock music.

The new album 'Electric Omega' is a sum of new songs and remakes of some Mantra tracks, rearranged with the new line-up

Jacopo Jack Meille: Vocals
Gianluca Galli: Guitars and keyboards
Andrea Castelli: Bass
Matteo Bona Bonini: Drums
