THE YOUNG WEREWOLVES

THE YOUNG WEREWOLVES

One must never mistake biology and biography.

But in the strange case of The Young Werewolves, these elements collide into strong rock and roll chemistry. Owing as much to the "mad-scientist-undergoes-experiment-mishap" myth as to the "man-becomes-werewolf-under-a-full-moon" legend, the trio ventured forth in 2002 to the delight of listeners looking for a redeeming quality in their monsters.

Enter Nick Falcon (guitar), Shewolf Dana Kain (bass) and Jonny Wolf (drums). The Philadelphia based percussionists and composers decided to share vocal and howling duties and drink the mysterious, smoking liquid that began to drip from the rafters into the test tubes surrounding the incubator in the laboratory.

Suddenly lights flickered and the earth began to shake, rattle and roll. An upbeat, raw rhythm pounded forth wall to wall echoing sounds from the past while pushing toward the future. Each werewolf found their zone; mixing styles of punk, jazz, goth, and rockabilly.

A sonic transformation took place and made for a good afternoon and a better midnight. The experiments are still ongoing. Some psychobilly, some horror, some garage, some pop... Stay tuned, more rock & roll to follow. Oooooooooowwwwwwwww!
