LITTLE CAESAR

LITTLE CAESAR

Well, get a load of these guys, a bunch of tattoed low lifes straight from “The Street”. Just what we need, another bunch of hard asses. So what makes these guys different? Well, if you look close you’ll see a depth not commonly found in the current wake of “Street Messiahs”. Little Caesar takes a curb side view to life, and delivers a sensitive and soul-filled brand of hard rock and roll. Wait a minute- did you say sensitive? O.K. Hold on. Soulful, sensitive, hard asses? Now that’s different.

“Little Caesar is blue collar music performed by working people for working people” says lead singer Ron Young. “We’re just regular guys -prone to the same emotions, fears, hopes and dreams as anyone else. We don’t put a wall between the audience and ourselves. There’s no pretense that we’re larger than life or enlightened figures. Yeah, we’re nice guys. You got a problem with that?”

On Little Caesar, the band’s self titled debut album on Geffen records (produced by Bob Rock), sweaty hard rock meets soulful R&B, sleaze meets sophistication. Marked by Young’s singing style – a gritty, chesty voice that’s a throwback to classic rhythm-and-blues—Little Caesar’s blessed musical simplicity rises from the heart and soul of rock’n’roll.
